① Reserve reinforcement allowance for full actual span
Measure the full distance between two ground rails as the main span. If the span exceeds 18m, extra reinforcement plates must be added to strengthen beam rigidity.
Never pursue oversized span without structural reinforcement. Insufficient reinforcement will cause beam bending, shaking and serious safety hazards.
② Set extra safety margin for lifting tonnage
Large span girders bear bigger bending force during lifting work. We suggest reserving 15% safety margin for rated load, higher than small-span models. Long-term full-load operation is strictly forbidden to slow beam fatigue and aging.
