The QDY Metallurgy Overhead Crane is a heavy-duty lifting solution tailored for harsh metallurgical working conditions. Adopting a sturdy double-girder structure, it is fitted with main and auxiliary hook systems, capable of lifting maximum loads up to 74/20 tons. Manufactured in accordance with ISO, FEM and GB standards, the crane is equipped with heat-resistant parts that can endure ambient temperatures as high as 50°C. It adopts a closed track design paired with high-strength steel materials to deliver outstanding durability under severe working environments.

Featuring Class H insulation grade and IP55 protection rating, this metallurgical overhead crane runs stably in dusty, humid and high-temperature workshops. Equipped with redundant safety configurations including overload limiters and dual braking systems, it fully meets the operating requirements of A7/M7 heavy-duty working class. The modular structure supports customized spans ranging from 10.5m to 31.5m and maximum lifting height of 22m. For capacities below 16 tons, an electric hoist can be configured, while dedicated metallurgical trolleys are adopted for tonnages of 16 tons and above. The travelling mechanism is equipped with special motor reducers, with multiple speed control systems available as optional configurations.

Application Scenario

Metallurgy overhead crane is professionally designed for metallurgical production processes such as molten metal transportation, casting, forging and rolling mill operations. Widely deployed in steel plants, foundries and non-ferrous metal processing enterprises, it is mainly used for the handling of ladles, metal ingots, steel slabs and heavy waste steel materials. Adaptable to high-temperature working areas around industrial furnaces with ambient temperature no higher than 50°C, the crane realizes safe material transportation in continuous production scenarios filled with corrosive flue gas and dust.
