Electromagnetic Overhead Crane is a specialized lifting equipment that uses an electromagnetic disc as the lifting device, mainly designed for handling magnetic metal materials such as steel products, scrap steel, and iron components.

The trolley traveling mechanism adopts a centralized low-speed shaft driving structure, while the trolley movement system uses independent drive units on both sides to ensure stable and reliable operation. According to the rotation mode of the electromagnetic disc, the crane can be divided into upper rotating type and lower rotating type, allowing users to select the suitable configuration according to different working requirements.

The electromagnetic overhead crane supports multiple operation methods, including ground control, cabin operation, and remote control, providing flexible operation options for different application environments.

The basic structure of the electromagnetic bridge crane is similar to that of a hook-type overhead crane. The main difference is that its lifting mechanism uses a DC electromagnetic sucker, which is specially designed for lifting ferromagnetic materials and their products.

During operation, the AC power supply is converted into DC power through the rectifier box installed in the operator cabin. The DC power is then transmitted to the electromagnetic disc through a special cable reel installed on the electric trolley, providing stable electromagnetic force for material lifting.

Electromagnetic overhead cranes are widely used in workshops, warehouses, steel plants, ports, and material handling areas. Through magnetic adsorption, lifting, loading, unloading, and transportation functions, they improve the efficiency of material transfer and production processes.

They are especially important in scrap steel recycling facilities and steelmaking workshops, where they can quickly collect and transport scattered iron materials without the need for additional packaging, bundling, or manual handling.
